St John the Evangelist Church

We are proudly linked with St John's Church which is also situated on Boothroyd Lane. The team Vicar is Rector Simon Cash, who is also a Governor at our school. Rector Simon is an integral part of our school and spends time in class partaking in the children's learning journey, delivering inspirational assemblies reinforcing our Christian values and ethos whilst also offering a helping hand within our community events and celebrations of achievement. The Diocese is headed by the Right Reverend Nick Baines and he ensures our Church school is supported by the Wakefield Diocesan Board of Education to help us:

Kontact Albania is a charitable organisation supported by St. John's Church and The Team Parish of Dewsbury

The elderly in Albania are in a struggle to survive and consequently the society is deprived of the contribution it could gain from the experience of its citizens.

Mr Malcolm Brooke also volunteers in our school and talked about the plight in Act of Worship. 

By working with Mr Brooke and helping others in Albania we are living by our Christian Values of Friendship, Fellowship and Compassion.
